Soundscapes of the world – The ART of listening: a global journey through gardens and sound

Abstract

School librarian, Raluca Gheorghiu, shares an innovative global project that brings students from across continents together to explore how sound shapes our understanding of place, culture, and identity. Entitled ‘Soundscapes of the World – The ART of Listening,’ and created by Sharon Tonner Saunders, it is hoped the initiative will develop the key competencies of active listening, sensory analysis, artistic expression, critical thinking, and digital literacy.
