Abstract

This article builds on previous Learning Landscape articles which use my current library as a focus for thinking about issues facing others in school libraries as we evolve. These articles have examined digital and physical library design considerations, how to gather data to guide our decisions, and development of the teams that will support student learning and teaching practice in the new spaces. This time, within the context of the changing expectations of stakeholders about how library spaces are used, and the way we can best use book and digital collections as part of the learning process, I look at how we might organise book collections differently to help meet those two foci, adding in ideas from the world of retailing and bookstores.
